Pediatric therapy in El Paso
Speech Therapy
Giving your child the tools to be understood — and to understand.
Speech therapy covers far more than pronunciation. It supports how children form sounds, build vocabulary, put sentences together, follow what is said to them, and take part in conversation.
For some children it also means feeding and swallowing support, or finding another way to communicate while spoken language develops.
Speech therapy may help if your child
- Is hard to understand, or is speaking later than expected
- Has a small vocabulary for their age, or struggles to combine words
- Finds it difficult to follow directions or answer questions
- Has trouble taking turns or joining conversations
- Experiences difficulty with feeding or swallowing
Where therapy happens
We provide speech therapy two ways: in your home through our Home Health division, or at our Yagel Therapy 2.0 clinics on the east and west sides of El Paso. Many families use both.
If your child’s pediatrician has recommended therapy, call us and we’ll help you work out which setting fits your family best.
Not sure where to start?
Tell us what services you’re looking for and we’ll help you work out which therapy — and which setting — makes the most sense. There is no cost to ask.
