Isabella Barraza, Administrative Assistant

The short version

As an Administrative Assistant, I love being part of a team that supports local families and their children. I enjoy helping create a warm, welcoming experience for the families we serve and being someone they can count on along the way in their children’s rehabilitation therapy. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me enjoying the outdoors, whether that’s hiking or taking a little camping getaway through New Mexico or Texas. I’m a huge fashion and art lover. I’m proud to call the frontera home and love the culture, creativity, and unique character that make our community so special.

Things you can ask me

For a child who finds new people hard, one thing in common is a place to start.

Favorite dinosaur?
Triceratops.
Do you have a pet?
No pets, but I love all animals.
Favorite color?
A Donald Judd blue.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a spy kid.
Favorite thing about working at Yagel?
The fun sensory toys around the clinic.
Best thing about El Paso?
The food!

Something I am still bad at

I’m bad at packing! I either bring my whole closet or nothing.

← Everyone at Yagel Therapy

Why this page exists. A child who knows their therapist also likes dinosaurs walks in with something to say. For a child with autism or sensory differences, a shared interest is a way to settle, not a nice detail. Everyone here answered these questions in their own words.
