Things you can ask me
For a child who finds new people hard, one thing in common is a place to start.
- Favorite dinosaur?
- My favorite dinosaur is the Velociraptor because they are fast, smart, and have the famous sickle claw that could take out anything!
- Do you have a pet?
- Yes, Pixie, my fur baby, who has been in my life since she was 6 weeks old.
- Favorite color?
- My favorite color is green because I love the way an emerald sparkles.
- What did you want to be when you grew up?
- I wanted to be an actress because I love the glam and drama. Still waiting on my Oscar nomination!
- Favorite thing about working at Yagel?
- I absolutely love my kids, aka my patients, and the reward that comes from watching them accomplish their milestones. I also have a brilliant boss, and I truly enjoy learning and working with her.
- Best thing about El Paso?
- I would have to say our Mexican food! There is really nothing quite like it.
Something I am still bad at
Having patience with bad drivers on the road. Since I drive quite a bit for my job, I encounter my fair share of rude or careless drivers, and they definitely test my patience. I’m getting better at letting it go, but it’s still a work in progress.

Why this page exists. A child who knows their therapist also likes dinosaurs walks in with something to say. For a child with autism or sensory differences, a shared interest is a way to settle, not a nice detail. Everyone here answered these questions in their own words.
